    Peedaathipathi

    Who are Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathis?

In the last three eras, nine (9) Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathis took birth to function as Gnaana Aachaariyaars in order to protect the Indhu Religion from all ill-effects, weaknesses and losses that regularly creep into the religion in due course of time.

    They are as under:

    1. Anaathi Karuwooraar
    2. Aadhi Karuwooraar
    3. Thonmadurai Karuwooraar
    4. Thenmadurai Karuwooraar
    5. Pahruli Atrangarai Karuwooraar
    6. Kumari Atrangarai Karuwooraar
    7. Kapaadapura Karuwooraar
    8. Thaamiraparani Atrangarai Karuwooraar
    9. Vaigai Atrangarai Karuwooraar

In the fourth era namely the Kaliyan yugam that is currently running the Tenth Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi actively worked between Kaliyan yugam 3001 to Kaliyugam 3251. After Him, the Eleventh Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi actively worked between Kaliyan Yugam 3886 and 4141. For these two Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathis alone there were undue workloads because of the mixing of foreigners' vedic culture with the Tamils' Indhu Religion.

The North Aryans entered into India 1359 years after the start of the Kaliyan Yugam. They were called as Pira Manninar in Tamil to mean foreigners. Alongwith these foreigners their Vedic customs and their language Sanskrit came into this India. Their vedic customs and their language Sanskrit mixed freely with India’s culture to form a new religion known as Hindu Religion.

The Tenth and Eleventh Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathis had to work heavily to isolate and establish the Tamils' Indhu Religion from this new religion Hinduism. Both the Peedaathipathis could not fully succeed in this effort within their life-time.

The Tenth Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi, His Holiness Siddhar Amaraavathi Atrangarai Karuwooraar constructed the Karur Pasupatheesuvarar Temple and functioned as a Philosophical Head. Based on this he brought about the Social revolution through Religion in the Tamils' Land. This gave the impulse to form the Fourth Tamil Sangam in Madurai on the banks of Vaigai River. In this Fourth Tamil Sangam He gathered all the Tamil literature that existed in the first three Tamil Sangams. Through this Fourth Tamil Sangam, the Tamil which is the Divine Ruling Language grew up to its full power again and attained a good status. But the Pandia King known as Pandiyan Nedunchezhian who over-powered all North Aryans did not follow the advices of the Tenth Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi. Because of that the City Madurai got destroyed heavily by the enemies of Tamils. These enemies burnt all the Tamil literature written in palm leaves maintained by the Tamil Sangam. The Tamil scholars and the sponsors were mutilated and killed. This destruction damaged the Tamil race, Tamil Language and the Tamils' religion (the True Indhu religion) … beyond repair to give orphaned and enslaved status to them all.

As a damage control measure, the Tenth Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi formed the Indhu Renaissance Movement and under that 48 types of organizations namely the Divine Services Forum, Tamils' language and religion liberation movement, Tamils Sangam, Tamil True Wisdom Group, … etc. To administrate all these organizations, the Tenth Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi trained four types of divinators namely Pathiyaar, Sathiyaar, Sithiyaar and Muthiyaar. Further, He also arranged for these divinators to take birth hereditarily generation after generation. After doing all these foundational works, His Holiness Siddhar Amaraavathi Aatrangarai Karuwooraar settled in his Samaadhi in the Karur Pasupatheesuvarar Temple built by Him.

In a similar way, His Holiness the 11th Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi, the siddhar Kaaviri Aatrangarai Karuwooraar who built the Thanjavur Big Temple worked hard to liberate the Tamils and failed in His Missions to finally settle down in the Samaadhi in the Thanjavur Big Temple After the 11th Peedaathipathi, His Holiness the 12th Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi has come to function as the Father of Indhuism, Kuvalaya GuruPeedam and Gurumahaa Sannidhaanam. He has been following the footsteps of His predecessors the 10th Peedaathipathi and the 11th Peedaathipathi to bring into action the aims, policies and the implementation methods.

For this purpose, His Holiness the 12th Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathi has formed Karukulam, Thirukulam, Tharukulam and Gurukulam. He has been writing down the history of the Pathinensiddhars True Indhuism, its Philosophies, Theologies, description about its temples, details on the divinators, … etc.

For the rejuvenation of the True Indhuism, His Holiness has been training the three types of disciples Siddharadiyaan, Siddharadiyaal, Siddharadiyaar to give divinity as an experential knowledge. Further He has been training these disciples to rejuvenate the 48 types of Karuvarai (Temple Sanctum Sanctorum), 48 types of Vettaveli Karuvarai, 48 types of Vazhipaattu Nilaiya Karuvarai, 48 types of Koil Mula Karuvarais. Through these, He has been aiming to unify all those interested in Tamil Race, Language and Religion. Thus He has been actively performing the action plans of the Pathinensiddhar Mutt.
