History of Siddhars - Part 3

In order to avoid becoming voluminous, a very short account of these Pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathis is given in this essay.

Of the 11 pathinensiddhar Peedaathipathis who have come and worked on this earth, the last two have done significant works. They are as under:

    a) His Holiness 10th Pathinensiddhar Peedam, Gurumahaa sannidhaanam Siddhar Amaraavathi aatrangarai Karuwooraar. (100 BCE - 150 CE)

    b) His Holiness 11th Pathinensiddhar Peedam, Gurumahaa sannidhaanam, Siddhar Kaaviri Aatrangarai Karuwooraar (785 CE - 1040 CE). He was the chief architect of the Thanjavur Big Temple.

    1. Amaraavathi Aatrangarai Karuwooraar believed in Social Revolution. He thought that through Social Revolution everything could be achieved. During this period the Religious, Social, Political, Art and Literature histories were written properly and thoroughly based on the South Himalayaas of Kumari continent and the North Venkata Hills. In order to compensate for the downfalls and the social failures, a social change was successfully effected in the Tamil Land.

But, alas, that brought-forth the fall of the Third Tamil Sangam itself. The hostile foreigners and the traitors to Tamils (today’s Tamil brahmins) attacked the Tamil land and burnt down the Madurai City which stood as the fortress of Tamil language, race and country. Numerous Tamil Scholars were murdered by chopping off their heads; Many more scholars' hands and legs were chopped off. The wealth of Tamil palm leaf scripts were destroyed in fire in volumes.

After this catastrophic destruction, for the sake of the Tamil’s welfare Tamil literature palmscripts were searched for and collected in the name of ‘Sanga period Literature’. This voluminous work was done by Siddhar Amaravathi Aatrangarai Karuwooraar who Himself wrote numerous books. He also encouraged capable Tamil Scholars to write more books in Tamil language. Those literature repaired the damages caused to the triangular fortress of Tamil Language, Tamil Country and Tamil Race. Because of that work only, Tamil’s History got rejuvenated atleast as a memorial.

Using this memorial Siddhar Kaaviri Aatrangarai Karuwooraar founded and built up a true Tamil Kingdom.
